About

Blue-flowered annual lupin, cultivated as a legume and green manure in acidic soils. Fixes atmospheric nitrogen through root symbiosis, improving soil fertility. In the food forest it functions in the herbaceous layer as a cover plant and green manure, being cut during flowering to incorporate biomass.
