About

Lavandula angustifolia is a perennial subshrub native to the Mediterranean, distinguished by its grey-green leaves and aromatic purple flowers. In a food forest, it works excellently to attract essential pollinators for the orchard, whilst its strong scent helps to confuse various agricultural pests. It is a pioneer plant and extremely drought-tolerant, thriving best in poor soils with sharp drainage.
