About
*Allium vineale* is a bulbous perennial herb native to Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. In a food forest, it integrates into the base of the system, where its aromatic profiles help to confuse insects and repel root pests. It propagates easily by producing small aerial floral bulbils, resiliently adapting to marginal and meadow areas.
