About

The dandelion is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Eurasia, quite hardy and easily found growing wild in temperate climates. Thanks to its deep root, it plays an excellent role in a food forest as a dynamic accumulator, drawing up minerals from the lower layers and helping to decompact the soil. Beyond this function, its early blooms are a crucial source of food for the first bees and pollinators of spring.
