About

The raspberry bush is a deciduous shrub native to Europe and northern Asia, characterised by biennial canes and a root system that reshoots vigorously. In a food forest, it forms part of the shrub layer, offering excellent summer or autumn harvests. It spreads rapidly via underground suckers, making it useful for creating productive hedges or filling useful spaces along borders.
