About

Native to Asia, it is a perennial onion that does not form large bulbs, producing dense clumps of hollow, cylindrical stems. It allows continuous harvests throughout almost the entire year without killing the plant. It works very well as a protective pest border in the food forest.

It can be planted now — September is one of the best months.
