About

Succulent perennial plant of coastal rocks and cliffs, highly resistant to salt and drought. The fleshy, aromatic leaves are edible, consumed in salads or pickled. In the food forest, it occupies the herbaceous layer in dry coastal conditions, providing edible leaves throughout the summer.

It can be planted now — September is one of the best months.
