About
Vigorous woody climber common in hedges and woodland edges, with abundant fragrant white flowers followed by silky plumes. The flowers attract many pollinating insects, although the entire plant is toxic. In the edible forest it occupies the climbing layer, scaling trees and offering nectar and shelter to beneficial fauna; it requires control due to its vigour.
